Tomahawk steak is a cut of beef ribeye that has five or more inches of extra rib bone for presentation purposes. It's called a "tomahawk" cut because the steak with the long bone resembles a single-handed axe.

  • According to Jamie Oliver, the best way to cook the perfect steak is by rubbing the steak over with a lug of olive oil and good pinch of salt and/or pepper. Add steak to hot pan of medium-high heat, then cook for 6 minutes for medium-rare, or to your liking, turning every minute
