Specially developed protective netting is used to feed the chooks and is designed to make sure that the chooks are living as natural and healthy as possible. 

There are no hormones or steroids in Australian chickens. They were banned in the 1960s. 

Australian chickens are not genetically modified but have improved over the years through good breeding.
